This limited-edition cooking class combines the flavor of wood-fired pizza with the glow of a golden hour sunset — all hosted outdoors at Sherwood Coffee ‘n’ Bread. Limited-Time Balloon Fiesta Experience
Each fall, Albuquerque comes alive with color during the world-famous Balloon Fiesta. While the balloons rise in the morning, we bring the heat in the evening — with a hands-on cooking class where you’ll make and enjoy your own artisan pizza fresh from a brick oven.
- Offered only October 4–12, 2025

What You'll Do
- Learn how to stretch, top, and fire your own pizza
- Use high-quality ingredients and dough made with love
- Cook with fire in our outdoor wood-fired oven

- Take home pizza-making skills you can use forever

- Duration: ~2.5 hours
- Start Time: Begins ~1.5 hours before sunset

Igor is an absolutely fantastic teacher: passionate about what he does, patient with his students, and with a deep knowledge of the subject of baking. Not to mention that he is fun and a great host. I wish he offered more classes, I would take them all!

This class was so fun!! And I learned so much, too!! Baking at high altitudes, moisture needs in bread baking, flour types, different styles of pizza. SO MUCH information was shared! I took my adult daughters for some girl time together, and they really enjoyed it, too
